1. Shipping & Delivery

  • We offer worldwide shipping for all our artworks and crafts.
  • We use DHL for swift and reliable delivery.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location and package size.    
  • All orders are carefully packaged to ensure the safe transport of artworks.

2. Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 3-7 business days after payment confirmation.
  • Processing time may vary depending on the artwork, availability, or special requests.
  • You will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is shipped.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

  • Sri Lanka: 3-5 business days
  • International (via DHL): 7-14 business days (depending on location and customs clearance)
  • Sea Freight Option: For a more cost-effective shipping alternative, we offer sea freight upon request. Delivery via sea freight typically takes 6-8 weeks. If you are interested, please inquire about pricing and availability before placing your order.

4. Customs & Import Taxes

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country.
  • However, in most cases, DHL shipments are delivered without additional customs charges, making it a hassle-free shipping option.
  • Buyers are responsible for any customs fees if applied.
  • 1873 Art Gallery is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

5. Shipping Partners

  • We primarily use DHL for secure and efficient shipping.
  • For customers opting for sea freight, we will coordinate with reliable shipping providers and provide necessary details.

6. Order Tracking

  • Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your order’s progress.
  • If you do not receive tracking details, please contact us.

7. Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
  • If your order is lost in transit, please reach out to us, and we will coordinate with the shipping provider for a resolution.

8. Returns & Refunds

  • Due to the unique nature of our artworks, we do not accept returns unless the item arrives damaged.
